Frequently Asked Questions

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Where does all the art come from?
A: Every piece of work is created by Richard as a traditional, hand-made artwork using pencils, paint and inks. These works are scanned in and ordered as high quality prints from a specialist printer to ensure we supply only the best quality reproductions.

Do you draw digitally or traditionally?
A: Everything starts as a traditional ink drawing. I scan and prepare the artwork digitally to ensure the prints are crisp, colour-accurate, and faithful to the original.

Do you ever sell originals?
A: Yes, but originals tend to sell quickly and they are not sold here. If you are interesting in picking up new pieces as they are made, check out Richard's Instagram page (@rjmason84) for the best opportunities.

What kind of paper do you use for your prints?
A: All prints are produced on high-quality archival art stock with a slightly textured finish that shows fine line work beautifully and closely imitates the watercolour paper used for the original art. The prints are designed to be long-lasting and gallery-ready.

ORDERING & SHIPPING

How long will my order take to ship?
A: Prints usually ship within 3–5 working days. During busy periods (like October, exhibition season, or product launches) this may extend slightly, but we always keep customers informed.

Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes. We currently ship from the UK to countries world wide. We’ve set up shipping for many regions, but not every country is covered by default. There are some places we can’t ship to, but if delivery to your location is possible, we’ll do our best to arrange it for you - just get in touch!

Do you ship to the USA?
A: Yes. We ship to the USA using a PDDP (Postal Delivered Duties Paid) service from Royal Mail. This means all US tariffs and import duties are included in the shipping cost and collected by Royal Mail before dispatch, so your order arrives without extra fees or surprise charges on delivery.

Do you ship to Northern Ireland or the EU?
A: No, unfortunately not. Due to the EU's GPSR regulations, including the need for representation within the EU, we cannot ship into EU nations at present. If you would like to discuss an alternative arrangement, such as shipping to a friend or relative in the UK, please get in touch and we'll see how we can help.

PAYMENTS & POLICIES

Can I return a print?
A: If you’re not satisfied, contact us within 14 days and I’ll help resolve it. Returns of custom orders aren’t possible unless damaged.

Do you offer discounts?
A: We sometimes run seasonal sales or other discounts. Keep an eye out for announcements on Instagram to pick up a deal.

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS

Do you take commissions?
A: Occasional commission 'slots' are made available here on the shop. These are sold on a first come, first served basis, and allow customers to make a down-payment on a custom piece of work. Richard will then work with you to produce a piece that meets your needs. Upcoming slots are usually announced on Instagram, so keep on eye on things there to be first to secure a unique piece of work.

Do you sell your artwork at shows or conventions?
A: Yes, we attend selected art and gaming shows throughout the year. We usually announce dates and locations on Instagram.

Can I learn to do this myself?
A: Of course you can. Richard runs occasional workshops and has a huge, structured online course focused on shading, inking techniques, and figure drawing fundamentals. Again, announcements on upcoming webinars and workshops, as well as registration opportunities for the course can all be found on Instagram.
